Building K18's IT from the ground up

The problem
K18 relied on an outside MSP, and a fast-growing, remote-first company (plus sister brands) needed IT it actually owned.
What I did
Helped offboard the MSP and, with our IT Director and VP of Technology, stood up the core service stack: a Freshservice queue for K18 and a sister company, NinjaRMM for device management, and a restructured Microsoft 365 tenant.
The result
An internal IT environment built to scale, shared across sister brands, with two of us resolving ~150 tickets a month.

Zero-hassle remote device rollout

The problem
Remote employees needed laptops that showed up secure and ready to work, on both Mac and Windows.
What I did
Designed the work-from-home experience around Autopilot, Platform SSO and Intune security policies, then iterated and tested a lightweight hardware deployment process.
The result
Rolled out to 100–200 users: fast, secure setup without a trip to the office.

On-prem AD to Azure AD, without the chaos

The problem
Moving identity to the cloud touches every login for every user, which is easy to get wrong.
What I did
Led the company through the migration from on-prem Active Directory to Azure AD, fighting for the end-user experience and preparing people ahead of each change.
The result
A cloud identity platform with minimal disruption to anyone's day-to-day.

A help desk ~200 people actually used

The problem
Support requests needed one clear front door, and repeat questions were eating the team's time.
What I did
Was one of the core team members who architected and built the Freshservice platform, with automations and knowledge base articles for user education and ticket deflection. Later streamlined intake, categories and SLAs.
The result
Scaled to ~200 users, and set up a smooth hand-off to the parent company's ticketing platform.

Standardizing a nationwide warehouse network

The problem
A small remote IT team supported facilities across the country, each with different gear and little visibility.
What I did
Standardized VPN-capable firewalls and switches company-wide, travelled on-site to install network racks and run low-voltage cabling, completed a VoIP transition, and put up IP cameras and access points (scissor and boom lifts included).
The result
Consistent, visible infrastructure at every location, and much easier remote support.

3D warehouse maps in SketchUp

The problem
Operations needed accurate layouts for WMS upgrades, and emergency maps had drifted out of date.
What I did
Put the architectural drafting background to work, building 3D layouts of each facility in SketchUp.
The result
Accurate product counts during WMS upgrades, and Emergency Procedure Maps updated company-wide.
